GPS TRAINING – 19th/20th JANUARY 08

Well, despite the rain the good news is we’ve still got snow!

So GPS training for this weekend will be as follows:

Due to coach availability some groups will not be able to train this weekend.

Saturday
No training will take place (including Masters)

Sunday
Training will take place for the following Groups:

Group Tomba, Group Maier and Group Miller (Please see below for the group lists. Some of the groups have changed following last weekend. Due to the increased numbers Group Maier will start as a large group with 2 coaches. They will then be split during the session into 2 groups dependent on ability).

Session Times – 10.00am – 12.30pm and 1.15pm – 3.30pm. The coaches will drop all children off at the Sport Anyway building outside of session times to be met by their parents/responsible adult.

Please ensure that you are at the Sport Anyway building to register for your group by 9.50am. Please note lift passes must be purchased prior to meeting at the Sport Anyway building to ensure a prompt start.

Any trainee who is not at the Sport Anyway building by 9.50am to register, will have to join in the session at a convenient point. It will be the responsibility of the parent to take the trainee to meet up with the group during session times.

If you have yet to collect a GPS gilet, please be at the Sport Anyway by 9.30 to ensure that you have time to collect and sign for this.

If any trainee is unable to attend training this weekend please let me know by Friday evening.

PLEASE NOTE: It was brought to our attention last week that some trainees were wearing their GPS gilets outside of designated sessions. Please do not wear your GPS gilet on a day that your group is not running.

In addition, some trainees were seen to be using their GPS gilet to jump queues on the tows. This is not acceptable. GPS has NO tow priority and any trainees seen abusing the GPS gilet in such a way will be asked to return it and may be forbidden for taking part in future GPS training.
